We have been making history for more than a century. People say that the restaurant “El 3 de oro”, has developed one of the most valued menus of the “gastronomic area”.
It was founded in 1917 and there are a lot of legends which set this restaurant within the history of the city. It was a place where bullfighters, football players and poets from that time met, and playing cards: card games together with the chance ended up giving it the name “El 3 de Oro” (name which refers to one of the suits in a Spanish pack of cards). Memories and experiences which turn its environment into a very special place. El 3 de Oro is located in one of the entrances to the city of Seville, called Puerta de la Carne which is a recommended place to know closely the Sevillian culture and cuisine.
A few metres from the restaurant, we find the areas known as Barrio Santa Cruz and La Judería, spots that keep the origin of the Almohade times in Seville. We are constantly working with seasonal products GATHERED FROM OUR OWN ORCHARD, that reach our clients through mediterranean and healthy recipes. The chef suggests our natural artichokes saute’ with prawns and iberian bellota ham, seasonal vegetable strudel, rice dishes in different versions, bull tail, galician octopus with cooked potatoes and sweet paprika.
